We are looking for an enthusiastic and hard working person to join our small team. We are an unconventional bike sales outlet trading from a warehouse type setup.
No formal qualifications or experience necessary other than an interest in motorcycles and a desire to be productive, work hard and able to work on own initiative. Full car driving license is essential and ideally a full motorcycle license although we would consider the right candidate with only a CBT.
A very varied and enjoyable role for the right person where no two days will be the same.
Duties will include;
Basic maintenance work on motorcycles such as oil changes, brake pad changes, caliper servicing, fitting new batteries etc. No formal workshop experience necessary as we can demonstrate with on the job guidance but basic experience using handtools and good common sense essential. Experience of servicing and working on your own personal motorcycle would be ideal.
The role will include;
- Test riding a wide range of motorcycles to confirm they ride without fault
- Delivering and collecting motorcycles in a van (has fixed folding ramp for easy loading)
- Dealing with customers to handover sold bikes
- Answering the phone when required
- Basic cosmetic and mechanical preparation/servicing of sales motorcycles
We very much value and appreciate common sense, enthusiasm, reliability and diligence in a person so don’t worry about not having the experience or formal qualifications if you possess these personal qualities.
Pay will depend on the candidate but will of course meet the minimum wage as a starting point.
